The 2,000 Dinar (US$15.44; €13.28) banknote P-148; B-413 is predominantly green in color and measures 158 x 72 mm. The note is printed on Durasafe® substrate, which provides enhanced durability and security.

The front of the note features a map of Algeria with a crescent and star as a gold SPARK feature. The front also displays a map of the Arab world, the Martyr’s Memorial, the Arab League logo, and the Algerian flag.

On the back of the note, there is a picture of a natural stone arch in Tassili N’Ajjer National Park, along with an image of the minaret of Djamaa el Djazaïr (Great Mosque of Algiers), a palm tree, a camel caravan, the Hoggar mountains, and Roman ruins in Tipaza.

The note includes a windowed holographic security thread with demetalized 2022 for added security. The watermark on the note features the image of Emir Abdelkader and the electrotype 2000. The note was introduced on November 2, 2022.
