Presenting the 50 Manat banknote P-42; B-412, a testament to value and progress, valued at US$29.37 or €25.25. Measuring 148 x 70 mm, this note envelops itself in a lush green hue, symbolizing growth and vitality.

The front of the note is a homage to knowledge and advancement – architectural and scientific elements interweave, highlighting human achievement. A Gold to green SPARK® Live effect graces the image of students, bringing a touch of enchantment. The Gold to green RollingStar® LEAD (Hologram), a holographic foil stripe depicting an educational institution, stands as a symbol of aspirations in three dimensions. A visually impaired recognition feature enhances inclusivity at the left and right borders.

Turning the note reveals the essence of Azerbaijan – a map spans the scene, embodying the nation’s identity and unity. Stylized figures add an artistic touch, reflecting the nation’s cultural richness.

A Gold to green RollingStar® security thread, demetalized with 50 and AMB, fortifies the note against any counterfeit attempts. The note’s creation is attributed to the Oesterreichische Banknoten und Sicherheitsdruck GmbH (OBS) in Vienna, Austria.

Watermarks seal the note’s authenticity – coats of arms and an electrotype 50 are embedded as a mark of legitimacy. Dated 2020 and marked with the prefix A, this banknote was introduced in January 2020, carrying the signature of Elman Rustamov. With the theme of education and future, this note bridges value and aspirations, serving as a conduit for growth and progress.
