The 10 Patacas banknote P-90; B-92, equivalent to US$1.25 or €1.08, features a vibrant red color scheme and measures 138 x 69 mm.

On the front side, it displays the denomination as a registration device, along with depictions of both the old and new façades of the Banco Nacional Ultramarino building. Additionally, a lotus flower rendered in Optically Variable Ink (OVI) adds intricate detail.

The reverse showcases a tree and a map of Macau from 1635, with the denomination again serving as a registration device. Enhanced security features include a green-to-magenta windowed security thread, incorporating a demetalized lotus flower and the abbreviation “MOP 10”.

Furthermore, a watermark of a lotus flower with an electrotype “10” enhances security measures. The note bears the date “18 DE MAIO DE 2020”, reflecting its issuance date and historical significance.

The 20 Patacas banknote, valued at US$2.50 or €2.15, boasts a regal purple hue and measures 143 x 71.5 mm.

Its front side showcases the denomination as a registration device, alongside illustrations of both the historical and contemporary façades of the Banco Nacional Ultramarino building. A detailed lotus flower rendered in Optically Variable Ink (OVI) adds a touch of sophistication.
