Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Independence
The 75 Rupees (US$0.45 and €0.39) banknote, P-56 and B-240 is predominantly green in color and measures 147 x 65 mm.
On the front of the note, there is a green-to-gold Optically Variable Ink (OVI) denomination, with the denomination also being used as a registration device. Additionally, the front of the note features the portraits of four important figures in Pakistani history: Syed Ahmed Khan, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, and Allama Iqbal. The front of the note also displays a 75th anniversary logo.
The back of the note features the logo of the bank, along with an image of the Earth as seen from space. The back of the note also displays a markhor (Capra falconeri) screw-horned goat, mountains, and deodar trees. Similar to the front of the note, the denomination is also used as a registration device on the back.
The note includes a Pureimage windowed holographic security thread for added security. The note is printed by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation and features a watermark of Mohammed Ali Jinnah and the electrotype 75.
The note was introduced on September 30, 2022, with no date and is signed by Baqir.
