Commemorates the completion of a 24.7 meter (81 feet) marble statue of seated Buddha in Naypyitaw, and the first birthday of a white male elephant, Rattha Nandaka

The issuance of this 20,000 Kyats banknote (P-87; B-120) holds special significance as it pays homage to two remarkable events in Myanmar’s history. The depiction of the standing white elephant, an emblem of auspiciousness and revered in Burmese culture, symbolizes the birth of Rattha Nandaka, the extraordinary white male elephant born in Taungup Township. This sacred moment filled the hearts of people with joy and optimism, making Rattha Nandaka an endearing national symbol.

On the reverse side of the banknote, the portrayal of the Sagaing Bridge and Irrawaddy Bridge showcases the country’s engineering marvels and signifies the growth and connectivity of Myanmar’s regions. These bridges are essential in facilitating transportation and enhancing economic development, serving as vital links that unite communities across the nation.

The use of advanced security features, such as the green-to-gold windowed security thread and the watermark of the Yadana white elephant’s head, ensures the banknote’s authenticity and safeguards it against counterfeiting. The inclusion of the electrotype “20000” further solidifies the note’s integrity, making it a reliable medium of exchange in the country’s financial system.

Printed by SECURITY PRINTING WAZI CBM, a renowned printing institution known for its expertise in producing secure currency, this 20,000 Kyats banknote is meticulously crafted to meet the highest quality standards. Pakistan new 75 rupees commemorative

Celebration of the 75th Anniversary State Bank of Pakistan

75 Rupees (US$0.45; €0.39) P-57; B-241 Color: Blue-green Dimensions: 147 x 65 mm

The banknote features the denomination as a registration device and showcases a stylized image of the State Bank of Pakistan headquarters building in Karachi, created by calligrapher Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi. Additionally, the note includes a portrait of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan, and the denomination in optically variable ink (OVI).

The back of the banknote depicts wind turbines and solar panels, highlighting the importance of renewable energy. Also, it features Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, a prominent political figure and sister of Mohammed Ali Jinnah. The denomination is again displayed as a registration device.

The banknote incorporates a Pureimage windowed holographic security thread with a demetalized ’75’ pattern, providing enhanced security against counterfeiting and is printed by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation, ensuring quality and authenticity.

A watermark of Mohammed Ali Jinnah’s image and an electrotype ’75’ are embedded in the banknote, adding an additional layer of security. The banknote is dated in the year 2023. The prefix used on the note is ‘A,’ and it was introduced on the 4th of July, 2023. The signature of Ahmad is present on the banknote, signifying its legitimacy and official issuance.
