The 10 Patacas banknote P-129; B-237, valued at US$1.25 or €1.08, is characterized by a striking red color and measures 139 x 69 mm.
Its front side features the denomination as a registration device, along with depictions of small buildings, the Bank of China building in Macau, and a Southern lion. Additionally, the bank logo and a dragon head rendered in Optically Variable Ink (OVI) contribute to the intricate design.
On the reverse side, the skyline of modern Macau and the iconic Macau Tower take center stage, with the denomination serving as a registration device. Security features include a windowed security thread featuring a demetalized lotus flower.
The note is printed by Hong Kong Note Printing, Limited (HKNP), and bears a watermark of a lotus flower with an electrotype “10”. It is dated “18 DE MAIO DE 2020” and the introductory date is february/24.
The 20 Patacas banknote P-130; B-238, equivalent to US$2.50 or €2.15, features a rich purple color and measures 144 x 72 mm.
On the obverse side, the denomination is displayed as a registration device, accompanied by depictions of small buildings, the Bank of China building in Macau, a Southern lion, the bank logo, and a dragon head in Optically Variable Ink (OVI).
Turning the note, the Macau Science Center takes center stage on the reverse side, with the denomination serving as a registration device once again. Security measures include a windowed security thread featuring a demetalized lotus flower.
